MMK raises steel output by 7.5% to 6.5 mln tns in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Jul 18 (PRIME) -- The steel production of Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) increased by 7.5% on the year to 6.515 million tonnes in January–June, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Cast iron output gained 14% to 4.914 million tonnes.

MMK’s sales of metal products rose by 11.1% to 5.826 million tonnes in the period.
